Breakfree Great Sandy Straits is a 3 Story Walk Up Building (no Lift Access), located right next to the marina and beach and is Hervey Bay's only absolute waterfront resort. There's also a great poolside BBQ area and direct access to the family friendly beach, so you can make the most of the outdoor lifestyle.

When you're not chilling out at BreakFree Great Sandy Straits make sure you check out Hervey Bay. From late July through to November Hervey Bay is best place in Australia to see the humpback whales on their annual migration, so book in for a whale watching tour or you can jump on the barge and head over to Fraser Island for the day.

With the beach right on your doorstep you grab the kids and spend the day on the beach or if you're feeling hungry, the resort is just a stone's throw away from the main marina where there's some great restaurants to try out. There's also shopping close by if you can't go without a peak.
